About

The Clear Lake Chamber Music Festival is the most exciting and first of its kind that Manitoba has to offer. Prior to the creation of the Clear Lake Chamber Music Festival in 2006, there had not been a professional classical and jazz chamber music festival in summer at the rural and national park areas of Manitoba! The Clear Lake Chamber Music Festival continues to be a pioneer of its kind.

The Clear Lake Chamber Music Festival has become an important part of Canada’s cultural calendar, delighting people of all ages with a powerful musical experience. This year’s festival, held from July 26th to July 29th, under the artistic direction of pianists Alexander Tselyakov and Daniel Tselyakov, features six musically rich concerts, two of which are jazz-oriented. The four classical recitals are well-programmed with variety, with Alexander himself, and his talented pianist son Daniel, collaborating with violinist Joyce Lai, clarinetist Catherine Wood, cellist Andras Weber and others in music ranging from Mozart, Brahms, Poulenc to Bruch, Gershwin, Shchedrin, Menotti and Piazzolla, all of which only enhance the natural beauty of Riding Mountain National Park, Manitoba, where the festival takes place.
