Our grand finale is one that you won’t want to miss! The concert begins with early works by Handel and Monteverdi, and the beautiful sounds of Baroque music. A charming girl-power set featuring some of the greatest trios ever written for female voice follows, along with some popular tunes performed by Naomi Forman (soprano), Sarah Hall (soprano), and Chelsea Chimilar (mezzo-soprano), accompanied by Daniel Tselyakov (piano). In addition, the world premiere of Brandon composer Kenneth Nichols, The River Merchant’s Wife: A Letter for low voice, flute and piano will feature Sarah Hall (soprano), Alla Turbanova (piano), and Nancy Hennen (flute). We finish off the afternoon with Schostakovich’s famous Piano Quintet in G minor, Op. 75 featuring Kerry DuWors (violin), Marc Djokic (violin), Heather Wilson (viola), Rafael Hoekman (cello), and Alexander Tselyakov (piano).
